About the Author: Tonya Cam
Tonya Cam teaches eighth-grade science in Gainesville, Florida. Her first book, The Complete Guide to Shirley Temple Dolls and Collectibles, reflected her lifelong fascination with Depression-era America.
Learning to Breathe Again is her debut novel and the first in The Work of Becoming, a trilogy inspired by her grandmothers and written in memory of her father. She lives in Gainesville with her family.
